Winedirectory.co.za is the "Little Black Book" for the wine industry. Its primary focus is to promote and market wine businesses via the internet. A long, sun-dappled lunch with the owners of a wine estate in Burgundy made an unforgettable impression on the then-teenaged Leslie. The movie-like scene of laden tables and new friends playing boulle together (while sipping on a vintage red, of course) catalysed her lifelong passion for good food and great wine. These days, Leslie is kept on her toes with a gorgeous busy toddler and her three other passions, Winedirectory, Wineweb and Wine-Club SA.

With a business degree from the University of Pretoria and fifteen years' experience in ecommerce, merchant banking, publishing consulting and running an internet service provider, Leslie's the kind of person who has big dreams - and makes them come true.

This self-confessed wine geek has found a way to marry her two passions in her work: Described as a catalyst, dot-connector and galvaniser, she founded and still manages popular wine websites Winedirectory, Wineweb and Wine-Club SA.

A down-to-earth Pretoria girl at heart, Leslie's other interests include travel, scuba diving, photography, reading, movies and keeping fit.
